Background - ISUAAAT is the premier meeting of specialists in turbomachinery
unsteady aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and aeroelasticity. The four-day, single session meeting is typically attended by about 150 participants from around the world.

Following the success of the Twelfth International Symposium on Unsteady Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics and Aeroelasticity of Turbomachines (ISUAAAT 12) held at Imperial College London on the 1st to 4th September 2009, ISUAAAT13 is to be held in Tokyo on 11 -14 September 2012.
ISUAAAT is the premier meeting of specialists in turbomachinery unsteady aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and aeroelasticity. It is held every 3 years under the auspices of the ISUAAAT Scientific Committee.
There are about 150 participants from industry, academia, and government, presenting papers describing their latest technology.
The aim of this symposium is to bring together researchers from around the world to facilitate communications among those working on unsteady flows, fluid-structure interactions and aeroacoustics in turbomachines, propellers and helicopters.
