ISUAAAT-13 (2012)

The 13th International Symposium on Unsteady Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics and Aeroelasticity of Turbomachines

11th (Tu)-14th (F) September 2012
University of Tokyo, Japan

Background

ISUAAAT is the premier meeting of specialists in turbomachinery unsteady aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and aeroelasticity. The four-day, single-session meeting is typically attended by about 150 participants from around the world.

Further details can be found at www.isuaaat.org

Call for Papers

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Unsteady blade row aerodynamics,
    including rotor/stator interaction
  • Blade-passing and low-order forced response
  • Compressor and turbine flutter
  • Compressor stall and surge
  • Vibration of bladed disks including mistuning
  • Compressor, turbine, seal and combustor instabilities
  • Aeroacoustics and acoustic resonance
  • Computational and experimental methods for unsteady aerodynamics, aeroelasticity and aeroacoustics of turbomachines(UAAAT)
  • Advanced aerothermal modelling techniques for UAAAT
  • Measurements methods and benchmark data for UAAAT, including heat transfer

Topics of currently growing interest may be also encouraged towards:

  • Sustainable/renewable energy power elements like wind turbines
  • Wave relating power conversion phenomena
  • Multi-disciplinary/concurrent design, control and optimization methodology

The extended abstracts, due by 24 December 2011, should include a description of the objectives, the results obtained and a brief summary of the solution procedure and/or experimental methodology. (Please refer to [Format] Abstract Template in Author Info)

Please e-mail your extended abstract to abstracts@isuaaat.org

With our best wishes,

Masanobu NAMBA, Scientific Committee Chair
Toshio NAGASHIMA, Executive Committee Chair
